7/26/09 The pups took their first trip outside and loved it! They played and rolled in the grass. Of course, Scarlett was the center of attention.

7/29/09 Blake, Oszkar, Ferdinand, June, Babe, and Rainbow Brite are now 5 weeks old. They are beautiful, curious, and mischevious. Here they are sleeping off their latest expedition out of the box. There is nothing cuter than a puppy belly!

8/8/09 The puppies are 6 weeks and 5 days old and all of their new familes came to visit today. They got to meet Charile and Aunt Piper, two other girls that are Mommy's age. They are growing, as you can see from the pictures below:Donna Hungarter and I stacked all the pups up for the first time and took some pics. Some pups were more cooperative than others, depending on how distracted they were by all of the distractions on the kitchen island. We are truly blessed, as all of the puppies have become part of wonderful families and will be loved. Let them never know a day of unhappiness. Since all of the puppies are pretty much local, they will be back often to visit their first human parents, mommy Scarlett, and siblings June and Blake.Mary Smith with Oszkar (Mr. Green). The Smiths will have their new son join their human daughters, Laura and Megan, and their vizsla daughter, Charlie. Becky and Ashley Muhlenberg with Babe. Now called Harley, little miss pink will join the Muhlenberg family for a loving and fun-filled life!Jim and Karole Hamill have their first baby! It is miss rainbow, now called Blair. I have already received pics of Blair in her new home and know there will be no shortage of pampering and cuddling. Her grandparents will have to share babysitting!Steph and Scott  are longtime vizsla folks, so they know exactly what to expect from Ferdinand. Now named Zoltan, or Zolie for short, he will be a great little brother to their 2 year old vizsla, Mimi! June and Blake are staying right here with us and Scarlett, so the goodbyes were a bit shorter and easier:) May these pups know only happiness and bring much joy to their new families. They will all be involved in lots of excitement and activities, including confirmation, field, and therapy work. Mostly, they will be loved and cherished.
