Puppies and Breeding

We do not have any puppies available at this time. PLEASE use caution and common sense in connecting with a breeder, and try to find a local breeder that will support you and your dog throughout its life. Read the articles below for information on how to screen a breeder.

Our Breeding Philosophy

As AKC Breeders of Merit, we breed our dogs occasionally with the goal of preserving what we feel is the "perfect breed." In recent years, we have bred about a litter a year and produced excellent get by returning to the foundations we cherish. We happily place puppies in loving homes that cherish the temperament, intelligence, grace, natural instincts, and versatility of the breed. We require several visits to evaluate prospective families. In turn, we provide ongoing support and advice to new puppy owners and welcome them into our extended vizsla and human family. We encourage families to participate in AKC events.

Please, do not support puppy mills and backyard breeders by buying a puppy from a pet store or having one shipped from an unknown breeder on the internet. Please read the linked articles below if you need help differentiating between suspect and legitimate breeders:

Emma and Dvor Litter 2012

"Emma" CH Rheingold Erda Emma Lou was bred to our foundation dog, "Dvor" CH Rheingold Loge Anton Dvorak, and had 5 beautiful pups on 4/24/12. The puppies have all gone to their forever homes.

Piper and Tok Litter (Waldon Vizslas) 2011

Update 3/2012: Piper and Tok's puppies, under the kennel name Waldon Vizslas, are competing and winning in the conformation ring! Hunter has won every show entered thus far out of the 6-9 month puppy class and is three points away from his championship at the tender age of 8 months! Theiss finished his championship in June 2012. We are excited to see what the future will bring for these lovely puppies. Congratulations to breeders Donna and Wally Hungarter and Tad Walden!
